Training | Practical resources for a pedagogy on desire
December 12 | Training | Questioning normality: Practical resources for a pedagogy on desire
Beyond terminology, understanding how we participate in social pacts in terms of gender representation, sexual orientation, and desire allows us to develop individually and with others. Only by analyzing the behaviors we unconsciously adopt can we stop chains of micro- (and macro) daily violence.
In this workshop, we will review how Western capitalism has established a binary gender ideology for reproductive purposes, as well as the inconsistencies of clinical nomenclatures and state strategies with concessions of individual freedoms, later with the gradual censorship , discredit and outlawing of various positions. In the second part, we will generate a block of resources to work on these issues through pedagogy, thinking about different action groups such as children, the elderly or groups with functional diversity.
Aimed at professionals in the cultural and social sector interested in approaching the Queer Theory.
