PROGRAMME

Coming from a musical family, singer Au Rora considered studying for a university degree outside the world of music, but finally opted to study jazz at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona. Although she is currently focusing on vocals, Au Rora is also a drummer, and performed with the rock band This is Riot. Her work is influenced by jazz (Aurora Coca Trio), and soul (Boreal) and she is an admirer of Amy Winehouse (in Black is Back she sang songs by the late British star). Now the singer from Terrassa presents the EP “Naïve”, the name of her second single. It is an elegant pop song with touches of electronic music, sung in English, in which she reflects on personal relationships, resignation and the idealisation of the past.
