Annual presentation event
With the aim of giving visibility to the project, the Annual Close to Culture Event is organized every year which, from the 2019/20 season, also serves to kick off an awareness campaign and activities on a cabbage ·Close to Culture specific group and the key role of culture in improving their lives.
The last seasons were dedicated to the Elderly in a situation of dependency or isolation (#MaiSoles), to Women in a situation of vulnerability (#TotesIncloses, 2019/20) and to Mental Health (#LliuresdStigma 2020/21), and this it's the turn of the homeless (#LaLlarDeTotes, 2022/23).
The annual event of Close to Culture and the presentation of the new season will take place next October 21 at 11 a.m. at the Born Center for Culture and Memory in Barcelona and will be led by the journalist Crisol Tuà and, among others, will include with the presence of the Minister of Culture, Natàlia Garriga and the Minister of Social Rights, Carles Campuzano

At the end of the event, a musical performance will take place: "La gata perduda", fragment of the community opera premiered at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
