Program of Activities 21/22 | Mai Soles

The 2021/22 season will focus on social organizations that work with the group of elderly people in a situation of isolation or dependency. These are residences, day centers, associations, foundations, services and social centers that face many challenges to improve the quality of life of older people.

With the collaboration of social entities and cultural facilities, we have designed a program of activities with the aim of giving visibility to the work they do of these social entities and how culture can help achieve a more inclusive society. .

These activities are aimed at professionals in cultural and social facilities. In each activity we will create a group of people to share experiences related to mental health and culture.

•  Annual Event Apropa Culture at the Teatre Romea. October 25th. We will present the season! More information
• Day of Old People and Culture "Never alone". November 22nd. More information coming soon. 
• Cycle of talks on the Elderly. With the collaboration of the National Art Museum of Catalonia. There will be online talks on different intersectional topics: Seniors and Mental Health, Seniors and Diversity, Seniors and New Technologies, Seniors and Gender, Seniors and caregivers.

• The Museum Approaches: activities and workshops of the museums that move to the residences and day centers for the elderly. More information and reservations.
• An orchestra morning for people with Alzheimer's and other dementias: participatory musical activity that takes place in L'Auditori, Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, Orquestra Julià Carbonell de Lleida. More information and reservations.
