LUISMI SEGURADO TRIO

Luismi Segurado piano, Masa Kamaguchi, double bass, Santi Colomer drums.

A formation of the Salamanca based in Barcelona, based on the tradition of the piano trio. With a repertoire with own themes and of the American songbook. In love with the jazz tradition and with a very peculiar technical breadth, Luismi Segurado can evoke great references such as Bobby Timmons, Winton Kelly, Oscar Peterson or Bill Evans and at the same time be inspired by modern classics such as Scriabin, Mompou or Ravel, among others. Segurado, who already has two works published by the label of “Freshsound Records” (“Tritones y Serendipia” in 2016 and “Hocicology” in 2019), the last with Jorge Rossy on vibraphone, and is working on his third album with this trio.
