The Museu de la Noguera, located in the historic center of Balaguer, manages the city's archaeological heritage. From the museum, there are links between research and dissemination and between the institution and the territory, as well as the idea of being a platform to understand the heritage and the works from coexistence and from what it will mean during the age of half l'Al-Andalus.
Access
The main entrance to the museum from the street is on floor 0 and is accessible to people in wheelchairs. It is accessed at the same level.
The museum's public circulation spaces are spacious and accessible. The doors and steps have a minimum width of 80 cm. The temporary exhibition hall and the permanent exhibition hall are fully accessible for people with reduced mobility and wheelchairs.
The temporary exhibition room is located on floor 0 and is accessed on the same level, from the museum lobby.
The permanent exhibition hall is located on the 1st floor and is accessed through a high-capacity elevator that can be used to move groups of people in wheelchairs.
Accessible toilets
There is a toilet accessible on floor 0, in the lobby, next to the rest area. It has a sink integrated into the same cabin. There are baby changing tables.
Portable chairs
The museum has 4 portable chairs, very light, that can be used during the visit to the exhibitions, either guided or autonomous.
Signaling
The route in the exhibition halls is supported by a signaling system that marks the direction of the itinerary.
Smells
In the permanent exhibition room there are scent fresheners with a perfume created especially for the exhibition that is dispersed throughout the room.
